Beautiful Carved Olive-wood Golgotha Crucifix Ideal as a a pendant or Rosary part. The Olive-wood cross measures 2 1/4 x 1/8" thick." long by 1 1/8" wide. The Corpus is approximately 3/4" x 1". This is an intricately detailed piece that is polished smoothly. It features a sunburst carving behind the head of the Savior with the Golgotha skull and cross bones at the base of the crucifix. INRI on the titulus above Jesus' head means the Latin phrase, "Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum" translated " translates to "Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews".
